On Saturday, the Rotary Club of Stabroek, Georgetown, renewed its commitment to the National Library (Bagotsville Branch) with a simple ceremony to mark the handing over of a cheque to support expansion of the library.Stabroek’s Director for Service Projects, Sase Gunraj, made the presentation to Senior Librarian, Patricia McKenzie.The club’s partnership with the Library and the Bagotsville Concerned Citizens Group was launched in 2006.The partnership aspires to improve the literacy and numeracy of children in communities of Nismes, La Granch and Bagotsville.
