| Anthony Nester on Friday made another appearance in the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan to answer to another charge of fraud.The charge read that between September 2,Cesar Azpilicueta Jersey, and September 17 at Quamina Street,James Wilson Jersey UK, Georgetown, he incurred a debt of $135,Cooper Kupp Rams Jersey,000 at the El Dorado Inn Hotel by pretending that he had a valid credit card to pay for his expenses at the hotel,Dan Feeney Jersey, knowing this to be false. The card bore the name Frank Da Silva.The 28-year-old pleaded guilty when the charge was read to him by the Magistrate.Nester told the court that he resides at Lot 107 Thomas Street and is the owner of several companies in Guyana. The Guyana School of Etiquette and Nester Enterprise Limited are two.Police Prosecutor, Kevin London,Benjamin Stambouli Paris Saint-Germain Jersey, told the court that on September 5, the defendant showed up at the hotel and asked if he could lodge there. He told the staff that he lost his baggage and his passport since he came in on the Caribbean Airlines and due to the fact that he lost his belongings he was granted the privilege to stay for the period of September 7 to September 17.The supervisor of the Hotel, Roxanne Graham,Jonnu Smith Womens Jersey, observed in the newspapers that Nester was charged with two similar offences and she immediately reported the matter to the Police Station. Following an investigation he was arrested and charged.Nester told the court that he was willing to pay back the money and was granted time to do so. He was able to pay $130,000 to the supervisor. The court ordered him to pay the additional amount before November 28 or in default, serve four months imprisonment.The magistrate also placed Nester on a bond for 12 months or in default three months’ imprisonment. |
