The Chairman of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), Michel Joseph Martelly, the President of Haiti yesterday commenced an official visit to the CARICOM Secretariat. The visit will continue until tomorrow.President Joseph MartellyAccording to a statement issued by the Turkeyen Secretariat. President Martelly will hold discussions with CARICOM Secretary-General Ambassador Irwin LaRocque and his Executive Management team today at the Secretariat’s headquarters.He will also meet with the staff of the Secretariat. A press conference is also set to be hosted tomorrow.The President is being accompanied by Pierre Richard Casimir, Minister of Foreign Affairs; and Wilson Laleau,NBA Jerseys China, Minister of Trade and Industry. The members are also slated to hold discussions with President Donald Ramotar and his Cabinet.President Martelly who was elected President of Haiti in 2011, assumed the Chairmanship of CARICOM on January 1, 2013.
