In response to heavy rains which resulted in flooding of the capital city and the coastal areas of the country earlier in the week, Minister within the Ministry of Communities, Keith Scott, and a team from the Central Housing and Planning Authority, (CHPA) and Guyana Water Incorporated,Wholesale Football Jerseys, (GWI) last Friday, visited several flood affected residents in Lodge, Georgetown.The effects of the two-day flooding were still evident when Minister Scott and his team visited the community. To ensure the health and safety of the flood-affected residents, the team distributed cleaning detergent, provided by M. We will use all the resources available to the state to bring them to bear on this situation so that the people’s lives can go on as normal.”The GINA report further outlined that Minister of Public Infrastructure, David Patterson, had said that all sluices, pumps and drainage canals are in working order.
