They were employed as cane harvesters and had previously attended Vryman’s Erven School together.When Kaieteur News visited Bacchus’s home at Kortbraadt on Wednesday evening, the family was still trying to ascertain whether the murder had happened since Crabwood Creek is located on the Upper Corentyne area.Then a telephone call came from Bacchus’s father, Ivelaw Bacchus, and a few other men who made the journey to the area. They informed the already nervous and distraught mother, Annette Bacchus, that the boy was indeed beheaded.Then the entire family and a small crowd that had gathered at the home broke into a series of wails. Annette Bacchus fainted.Mr Prasad related that the two teens were involved in an argument shortly after noon,Cheap NHL Jerseys, yesterday. They had returned to the dorms from cutting cane. He said that it may have been about Bacchus not wanting to assist with dorm chores and cleaning.“They finished one session (of cutting cane), so they went back to the camp and were having lunch and had an argument.“Bacchus (apparently) wasn’t helping with the chores and he was confronted by Mc Allister. Bacchus slapped him (McAllister) and he became angry. Mc Allister went and sleep with the passion. Bacchus went and slept as well. They slept in the same room.” When they woke up around 2:30pm and were going back into the fields, they apparently had another provocation, Prasad said.Prasad added that as Bacchus was tying his boots lace, Mc Allister apparently came from behind and chopped the boy’s neck.He said that after the incident, Mc Allister left the scene and told him he was going to the police station. Prasad then telephoned the police.Bacchus's mother, Annette, is consoled and prayed for shortly after the arrival of the family pastorIt was while walking on the road that McAllister was accosted by the police. Prasad further stated that Mc Allister, told him that all he meant was to “broadside” Bacchus. The manager noted that Bacchus’s head was completely severed. There was just a piece of flesh keeping it attached to the neck.According to Bacchus’s relatives, they last saw him on Friday when he went to his home and spent some time.Bacchus had dropped out of school while in form four last year.
