The Campbell River Storm designed a modest profit during home games this season but endured significant losses on the road.
Wes Roed, governor with the Storm, broke down the crew's costs and revenues for that Strathcona Regional District in January.
"For every home game, usually, we generate an $1,1 hundred gate," Roed wrote. "For every road game, the expenses take presctiption average $1,200 an immediate $100 shortfall even before calculating expenses equalling at the very least $2,400 plus per year or so. The Strathcona Gardens Commission, however, denied the request.
