| Jersey City, US (nj.com) -A Pennsylvania man arrested after carrying a shotgun in his truck this weekendArrested: Marlon Murphynear the Holland Tunnel told The Jersey Journal he thought he was transporting the weapon legally.Marlon Murphy, 45, of Easton,Cheap Jerseys, appeared in Central Judicial Processing Court on the charge of unlawful possession of a weapon on Monday after spending Saturday night in jail.Police stopped Murphy just beyond the tunnel’s toll plaza at around 6:30 p.m. Saturday to make sure he was not carrying any hazardous materials inside a blue drum in the back of his pickup truck. But Murphy was arrested after telling police he had a shotgun and ammunition inside the drum, Port Authority police said.“It was in pieces,” Murphy said of his Mossberg 12-gauge shotgun. “It was separate and the ammo was in there, too.”Murphy said he was bringing the barrel to New York, where he was shipping it home to his family in Guyana, along with food and clothing.
