They talking about dis gang…I ain’t even get no friend.”During the interview, scores of curious onlookers stared at the young man, some of them wondering what was transpiring as he stripped his clothing so that he could be photographed, to show that he did not have any marks of violence on his body, before he was taken into custody.After being convinced that Rowe was ready to turn himself in, a media operative then contacted senior police officials informing them of the wanted man’s intentions.About 45 minutes later two jeeploads of police ranks arrived on the scene and promptly took Rowe into custody.At the Brickdam Police Station where he was taken, several ranks, most of whom were involved in previous searches for him, flocked the Criminal Investigation Department office for a glimpse of the youth who had given them many sleepless nights.Yesterday, Rowe’s mother, Donna Beete, said that she was “real glad” that her son, whom she had given to his grandmother at eight months, had decided to give himself up.“I am real glad. We prayed every day. I already lost a son. I could not sleep at nights.
